Cookies
The websites of the CONCEPTSTORE | Maier Media GmbH use cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored on a computer system via an internet browser.
Numerous websites and servers use cookies. Many cookies contain a so-called cookie ID. A cookie ID is a unique identifier of the cookie. It consists of a string through which websites and servers can be assigned to the specific internet browser in which the cookie was stored. This enables the visited websites and servers to distinguish the individual browser of the data subject from other internet browsers that contain different cookies. A specific internet browser can be recognized and identified via the unique cookie ID.
By using cookies, CONCEPTSTORE | Maier Media GmbH can provide users of this website with more user-friendly services that would not be possible without the cookie setting.
Through a cookie, the information and offers on our website can be optimized for the user. As mentioned above, cookies allow us to recognize the users of our website. The purpose of this recognition is to make it easier for users to use our website. For example, a user of a website that uses cookies does not have to enter their access data again each time they visit the website, as this is taken over by the website and the cookie stored on the user's computer system. Another example is the cookie of a shopping cart in an online shop. The online shop remembers the items that a customer has placed in the virtual shopping cart via a cookie.
The data subject can prevent the setting of cookies by our website at any time by means of a corresponding setting of the internet browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Furthermore, cookies already set can be deleted at any time via an internet browser or other software programs. This is possible in all common internet browsers. If the data subject deactivates the setting of cookies in the used internet browser, not all functions of our website may be fully usable.
Collection of General Data and Information
The website of CONCEPTSTORE | Maier Media GmbH collects a series of general data and information with every visit to the website by a data subject or an automated system. This general data and information are stored in the server's log files. The following data can be collected: (1) types and versions of browsers used, (2) the operating system used by the accessing system, (3) the website from which an accessing system reaches our website (so-called referrers), (4) the sub-websites accessed via an accessing system on our website, (5) the date and time of access to the website, (6) an internet protocol address (IP address), (7) the internet service provider of the accessing system, and (8) other similar data and information that serve to avert dangers in the event of attacks on our information technology systems.
When using this general data and information, CONCEPTSTORE | Maier Media GmbH does not draw any conclusions about the data subject. Instead, this information is needed to (1) deliver the contents of our website correctly, (2) optimize the contents of our website and the advertising for it, (3) ensure the permanent functionality of our information technology systems and the technology of our website, and (4) provide law enforcement authorities with the information necessary for prosecution in the event of a cyberattack. This anonymously collected data and information is therefore evaluated both statistically and with the aim of increasing data protection and data security in our company, ultimately ensuring an optimal level of protection for the personal data we process. The anonymous data from the server log files is stored separately from all personal data provided by a data subject.
Registration on Our Website
The data subject has the possibility to register on the website of the data controller by providing personal data. The personal data to be transmitted to the data controller is determined by the respective input mask used for registration. The personal data entered by the data subject is collected and stored exclusively for internal use by the data controller and for its own purposes. The data controller may arrange for the transfer to one or more processors, such as a parcel service, who will also use the personal data exclusively for internal use attributable to the data controller.
By registering on the website of the data controller, the IP address assigned by the Internet service provider (ISP) to the data subject, as well as the date and time of registration, are also stored. The storage of this data takes place against the background that this is the only way to prevent the misuse of our services and, if necessary, to enable us to investigate committed offenses. In this respect, the storage of this data is necessary to secure the data controller. A disclosure of these data to third parties generally does not take place, unless there is a legal obligation to disclose or the disclosure serves law enforcement.
The registration of the data subject with voluntary indication of personal data serves the data controller to offer the data subject content or services that, due to the nature of the matter, can only be offered to registered users. Registered persons are free to change the personal data provided during registration at any time or to have it completely deleted from the data controller's data stock.
The data controller shall provide any data subject at any time upon request with information on what personal data about the data subject is stored. Furthermore, the data controller corrects or deletes personal data at the request or indication of the data subject, insofar as there are no legal storage obligations to the contrary. The entirety of the data controller's employees are available to the data subject in this context as contact persons.
Subscription to Our Newsletter
On the website of CONCEPTSTORE | Maier Media GmbH, users are given the opportunity to subscribe to our company's newsletter. The personal data transmitted to the data controller when ordering the newsletter can be found in the input mask used for this purpose.
CONCEPTSTORE | Maier Media GmbH regularly informs its customers and business partners about the company's offers through newsletters. The newsletter of our company can generally only be received by the data subject if (1) the data subject has a valid email address and (2) the data subject registers for newsletter delivery. For legal reasons, a confirmation email will be sent in a double opt-in procedure to the email address first entered by the data subject for newsletter delivery. This confirmation email is intended to verify whether the owner of the email address, as the data subject, has authorized the receipt of the newsletter.
When registering for the newsletter, we also store the IP address assigned by the Internet service provider (ISP) to the data subject's computer system at the time of registration, as well as the date and time of registration. The collection of this data is necessary to trace any potential misuse of the email address of a data subject at a later date and therefore serves the legal protection of the data controller.
The personal data collected as part of a newsletter registration will only be used to send our newsletter. Subscribers to the newsletter may also be informed by email if this is necessary for the operation of the newsletter service or for registration, as in the case of changes to the newsletter offering or changes in technical conditions. There is no disclosure of the personal data collected as part of the newsletter service to third parties. The subscription to our newsletter can be canceled by the data subject at any time. The consent to the storage of personal data that the data subject gives us for the purpose of newsletter delivery can be revoked at any time. For the purpose of revoking consent, a corresponding link is included in each newsletter. There is also the option to unsubscribe from the newsletter delivery at any time directly on the website of the data controller or to inform the data controller in another way.
Newsletter Tracking
The newsletters of CONCEPTSTORE | Maier Media GmbH contain so-called tracking pixels. A tracking pixel is a miniature graphic embedded in such emails sent in HTML format to enable log file recording and log file analysis. This allows a statistical evaluation of the success or failure of online marketing campaigns. Using the embedded tracking pixel, CONCEPTSTORE | Maier Media GmbH can recognize whether and when an email was opened by a data subject and which links contained in the email were accessed by the data subject.
Personal data collected via tracking pixels contained in the newsletters are stored and analyzed by the data controller to optimize newsletter delivery and better tailor the content of future newsletters to the interests of the data subject. This personal data is not passed on to third parties. Data subjects are entitled at any time to revoke the separate consent given through the double opt-in procedure. After revocation, this personal data will be deleted by the data controller. Unsubscribing from the newsletter delivery automatically indicates to CONCEPTSTORE | Maier Media GmbH as a revocation.
Contact Option via the Website
The website of CONCEPTSTORE | Maier Media GmbH contains information that enables a quick electronic contact to our company as well as direct communication with us, which also includes a general address for electronic mail (email address). If a data subject contacts the data controller by email or via a contact form, the personal data transmitted by the data subject is automatically stored. Such voluntarily provided personal data transmitted by a data subject to the data controller is stored for the purpose of processing or contacting the data subject. There is no disclosure of this personal data to third parties.
Comment Function in the Blog on the Website
CONCEPTSTORE | Maier Media GmbH offers users the opportunity to leave individual comments on individual blog posts on the website of the data controller. A blog is a portal, usually publicly viewable on a website, where one or more persons, known as bloggers or web bloggers, can post articles or write down thoughts in so-called blog posts. Blog posts can generally be commented on by third parties.
If a data subject leaves a comment on the blog published on this website, not only the comments left by the data subject are stored but also information about the time of the comment entry and the user name (pseudonym) chosen by the data subject is stored and published. Furthermore, the IP address assigned by the Internet service provider (ISP) of the data subject is logged. This storage of the IP address is done for security reasons and in the event that the data subject violates the rights of third parties or posts unlawful content through a submitted comment. The storage of this personal data is therefore in the data controller's own interest, so that he can exculpate himself in the event of a legal violation. There is no disclosure of this collected personal data to third parties unless such disclosure is legally required or serves the legal defense of the data controller.
Subscription to Comments in the Blog on the Website
Comments made in the blog of CONCEPTSTORE | Maier Media GmbH can generally be subscribed to by third parties. In particular, there is the possibility that a commentator subscribes to the comments following his comment on a specific blog post.
If a data subject decides to subscribe to comments, the data controller sends an automatic confirmation email to verify in a double opt-in procedure whether the owner of the specified email address has actually opted for this option. The option to subscribe to comments can be terminated at any time.
Routine Deletion and Blocking of Personal Data
The data controller processes and stores personal data of the data subject only for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of storage or as stipulated by the European legislator or another legislator in laws or regulations to which the data controller is subject.
Once the purpose of storage is no longer applicable, or if a storage period prescribed by the European legislator or another competent legislator expires, the personal data will be routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with legal requirements.

Furthermore, the data subject has the right to know whether personal data has been transferred to a third country or to an international organization. If this is the case, the data subject also has the right to receive information about the appropriate guarantees in connection with the transfer.

Every data subject affected by the processing of personal data has the right, granted by the European legislator, to request the data controller to delete the personal data concerning them without delay if one of the following reasons applies and the processing is not necessary:

- The data subject withdraws their consent on which the processing is based according to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR, and there is no other legal basis for the processing.
- The data subject objects to the processing pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing, or the data subject objects to the processing pursuant to Art. 21(2) GDPR.

The employee of CONCEPTSTORE | Maier Media GmbH will ensure that the deletion request is complied with immediately.
If the personal data has been made public by CONCEPTSTORE | Maier Media GmbH and our company, as the data controller, is obliged to delete personal data in accordance with Art. 17(1) GDPR, CONCEPTSTORE | Maier Media GmbH will, taking into account the available technology and implementation costs, take appropriate measures, including technical measures, to inform other data controllers processing the published personal data that the data subject has requested the deletion of all links to this personal data or of copies or replications of this personal data, to the extent that processing is not necessary. The employee of CONCEPTSTORE | Maier Media GmbH will arrange the necessary measures on a case-by-case basis.
e) Right to Restriction of Processing
Every data subject affected by the processing of personal data has the right, granted by the European legislator, to request the data controller to restrict processing if one of the following conditions is met:
- The accuracy of the personal data is contested by the data subject for a period that allows the data controller to verify the accuracy of the personal data.
- The processing is unlawful, the data subject opposes the deletion of the personal data and requests instead the restriction of the use of the personal data.
- The data controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of processing, but the data subject needs it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
- The data subject has objected to processing pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR and it is not yet clear whether the legitimate reasons of the data controller outweigh those of the data subject.

The employee of CONCEPTSTORE | Maier Media GmbH will initiate the restriction of processing.
